About Jill

Formerly Associate Editor at Femail on the Daily Mail, Jill has been a freelance feature writer and editor since January 2008. She has written for publications including the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, The Daily Telegraph, Red, Fabulous, Look, Glamour, Real People, Woman and Woman’s Own.

She specialises in interviews, human interest stories, lifestyle and health features.

Before joining the Daily Mail, she was commissioning editor and feature writer on The Mirror for four years.

Jill helped cancer sufferer and charity fundraising athlete Jane Tomlinson CBE and husband Mike write their three bestselling books The Luxury of Time, You Can't Take It With You and How Good Is That? She now helps out with The Jane Tomlinson Appeal in a voluntary role and is on the board of directors.

Jill trained at London's City University after winning Cosmopolitan Magazine's journalism scholarship in 1997.

She lives in West Yorkshire with her husband and twin daughters.
